REIT1 Ltd. was established in 2006 as Israel’s first Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). A widely accepted investment vehicle around the world since the 1960s, REITs were first approved by Israeli authorities in 2006 to give anyone and everyone the opportunity to invest in large-scale commercial properties.

 
REIT1 owns and operates a portfolio of nearly 700,000 square meters, all located in attractive locations and submarkets in Israel. Attractive dividend yields
Dividends by REITs are especially attractive as the REITs are required by law to distribute most of their taxable income annually in the form of dividends. REIT1’s dividend policy is to distribute all its taxable income as dividends.

Investments in REIT 1 are made through the purchase of shares on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and can be sold at any time.
Tax advantages
REIT 1, as a Real Estate Investment Trust, is exempt by law from corporate tax. Taxes on Dividends are paid only by shareholders as a deduction at source.
